A BIT MORE ABOUT ME

I have always struggled with my weight. I was the “Fat Kid” at school and I yo-yoed up and down in my late teens and into my 20’s. 

I had my first baby at 26 – she is Special Needs (Intellectually Impaired) and I suffered severe post -natal depression, and exhaustion, as she just didn’t sleep. 

At 29 years old I was 25 kilos overweight, divorced and not in a good place mentally or physically. I decided it was time to put me first and so I summoned the courage to join a gym (with a fabulous crèche) I fell in love with Group Fitness and Group Training. I lost weight, but more importantly – I found Wellness and was able to come off anti-depressants.

Exercise was my savior!! I KNOW what it takes to lose weight and keep it off – it’s not easy and there are set backs along the way – BUT I CAN HELP YOU WITH YOUR GOALS :) If you are feeling low or depressed – exercise can and WILL help – I know because it helped me.

In 2005 - I decided I wanted to help other's, so I enrolled in QLD Tafe and became a Qualified Group Fitness instructor, then I became a Personal Trainer and I also completed a Diploma in Dietetics and Nutrition – becoming a Nutrition Coach. I LOVE MY JOB!! 

One of the greatest moments in life is realising that two weeks ago, your body couldn't do what it just did!
